Yep. Looks like the place. Hi everyone. My name is Michael. I'm in South east Texas (SETX) and South west Louisiana (SWLA). I'm 54 I think. Found this website a few days ago. I don't really have a lot to say just now. Maybe after I get more coffee in me.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hi all,
My name is Greg, 39yo. I'm a computer programmer in the SF Bay area - trying to sail as much as possible (although not all that much) while I get my financials in order to finally get myself a boat and start living "out there". I think maybe 2-3 more years.

I was married once (divorced almost 10 years ago), we had plans to get a boat and sail off. We lived in San Diego. It didn't work out and I ended up moving to Colorado (Boulder). Needless to say, not much sailing going on there.

I've been in the Bay area for a couple years now and it's strongly rekindled my love of sailing. So that, and my love of traveling (I lived in Buenos Aires for half a year), makes the cruising life the most appealing thing I can think of.

I'm pretty adventurous and, I think, fully capable of doing everything I want to do on my own. Well, except for having kids - that part needs a few items I didn't come equipped with. But as for the rest, it sure would be tons more fun to be able to share with someone.

So that's my long rambling intro.
Greg

I have no real plans on when i will leave. I would imagine it would be atleast a year and most likely more. I have a lot to learn and this is a beautiful place with lots of opportunities to explore.

Have you been before? If so ant tips on places is definitely welcomed!

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hello all... I'm out sailing Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Literally posting this from the middle of the as I have been cruising for four days...down to solomons, over to crisfield , back to solomons and on my way back to deale. luckily my phone is a wireless hotspot. After a two year test drive of a mate I find myself again perhaps looking for love and someone to sail with. sailing solo is awesome but there are times when one wants to share the beauty that is around us. I am a metal sculptor by trade...Frog Valley - Home - Frog Valley Artisans Ltd.

My boat is an old 36 foot allied princess...her hull was built in1972....mine was built in 1965 so she is a little younger than my 48 years. what I am seeking is someone who likes to kayak, hike, bike and of course sail. long term short term, any term...my home turf is the chesapeake but want to explore the icw and florida keys and beyond...

I will post from time to time....

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hi, my name is Steve and I think I have finally figured out how to get on here and say hello!
I am originally from Sheffield England, and I now live in Fort Myers Beach Florida after spending almost 20 years in San Diego.
I am 11years divorced, and looking for a lady to share my boating life with, it takes a "special one" does't it?

Wow, Zee, you've found a whole new crop of eligible men. By the way guys, Helen is a witch, a good one, but don't take her tease about being on her knees too metaphorically or literally. hehehe mwah! Helen
