Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Those six pack stomachs become kegs real quick do they not?

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

Hell yes. The worst part of it that it is hell to get back to the six-pack stage. And it is more fun drinking the beer than abstaining!

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Time to pack it in

My abdominal 6-pack has graduated to a pony keg...

Hello, I am a new SSSSM forum member, thanks Zee!

Just started reading CF regularly from my home in Texas. I have sailed for more than 20 years. Started out daysailing on inland lakes in the midwest. Then relocated to Texas and started crewing, racing, and vacation chartering with sailing friends. Sail Galveston Bay mostly, 38-42 ft monohulls, but have 2000 miles offshore experience: Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic SE coast, and Pacific offshore San Francisco. And vacation charters in Caribbean, Greece and Norway.

I am an early retiree, but active and healthy and way to young to retire from sailing! I have the time and the freedom to sail more often and enjoy "fixing a boat in exotic places".

I've read over recent SSSSM posts and was delighted to discover some kindred spirits in this forum. Look forward to new friendships with others who share my love of sailing and travel!

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

The 'Deck Candy' I was referring to is not the type that would be on this site, or any other sailing site I am thinking. Bikini, tanned, wisp of a thing, no way would she even think about touching a line, galley or anything. I have seen so many in the Carib when I was young and here in the summer around the big town bays, i.e. Seattle and Tacoma. Party animals they may be, but my party is a much slower, laid back, quieter one... Supposedly, that is what maturity does to you… I will let you know if I ever become mature enough to realize it!

Yeah, I've known some men like that only they didn't wear a bikini, well not often any way.

Re: SSSSM - Part Deux

I generally save my bikini for more intimate moments. I get strange glances from other boaters if I flash it on deck.
