Hello all Well i find my self here having joined CF to learn the ins and outs of living on the water and soak in as much info as i can from the people that have been there and done that. I am currently on a combat outpost in Afghanistan as a DOD contractor. I have purchased a power cat in Tampa bay as a live aboard and will make my maiden voyage the first week of Jan 2014. I am a 50 year old electrician from ARK single with no kids and no ties 5'9, 175lbs and i am moving to FL to live a dream and it would be nice to meet a lady with a dream of being on the water as well. I'm into Scuba diving, Fishing, Hunting, Jeeps, Cooking and everything outdoors. I'm told I'm a great guy a bit wild still young at hart a crazy risk taker i tell it like it is and i don't hit ladies. If you would like to know more you need only ask.

Hello, I'm a a 42 year old adventurous, single female. Having lived a large portion of my life in Northern California, I used to stare at the GG Bridge and dream of going out and hanging a left. Well, I managed to be able to do that a few times and the delivery of my life was on my recent birthday where I helped deliver a boat from Ensenada to San Jose del Cabo. Magical!

Which brings me to the SSSM group. I am looking for a male companion, best friend and partner to share the same dreams with. Someone who is carefree, spontaneous, positive and compliments all the good vibes necessary for a cruising lifestyle. I just recently obtained my USCG Captains License but still have a lot to learn. I'm hands on and eager to learn and experience all there is in sailing, love and adventure. I think it goes without saying, I'm willing to travel and relocatable too.

I went the same route as you to realize my dream...just returned home in May...hell we may have worked at some of the same FOB's, although I think most of the places I worked are now closed or under Afghan control. Maybe we'll meet up somewhere down the road...
