Re: So, you catch a mouse on a sticky tray - then what ?

I am a liscensed pest control operator so let me give you the facts. They give birth up to 5 times a year and have 5 to 13 young. They can carry hantavirus and a number of other very interesting diseases. One mouse can leave 20,000 droppings in one year. They chew for a living, so unless your plans to re-wire were already in place I wouldn't offer him an extended stay.

On a boat....."Asleep in the Deep."

On land.......quick boot heel to the head.

Whoever said about catch and release doesn't know about mice. They just come back in. FCS...it's a rodent.

At least you were smart enough to catch the mouse. DOJ spent days trying to catch the mouse and it outsmarted him every time. If on the sticky trap you could use the microwave or deep fry in beer batter.

Re: So, you catch a mouse on a sticky tray - then what ?

I had a victor mouse trap disappear one day and looked for it forever. I was sure the damn mouse got it's tail caught in the trap and drug it off somewhere dark to die and stink.

About two weeks later, my oldest son dropped by and I asked him if he'd seen my trap. It appears he stopped by for lunch and found a mouse in the trap that had gone to the great cheese factory in the sky. He didn't realize the trap was reusable and tossed it, with the mouse.

Peanutbutter + wooden dowell + bucket filled 1/2 way with water = problem solved

The moral of the story is that if you have mice, hope that you have a hunter like Zee,s cat as oposed to any other kind of hunter
