What do you ladies think of the term "Skipstress" Skipper'sMistress...

Are you talking about a boat name?

I read that as Skip Stress - i.e. not working.

We have a boat here getting renamed called Windsikher - The owner is Indian (Sikh). He even had to explain the name to his mom. "Mom, we are Sikhs, get it?"

People read it as wind - sick - her

Why not call it "Mistress" - No ambiguity in that - LOL.

I always imagine how a boats name will sound over the radio when you are in trouble and maybe forced into sending a mayday message.

Skipstress sounds like a tongue twister and somehow ironic.
