I would think that any boat that had taken that much damage, and still got its crew safely on dry land deserves tremendous respect.

Methinks the crew may have had something to do with saving the boat in this case...

Thats a given, but regardless, that is pretty serious damage and would be enough to put most boats underwater despite all efforts.

Most decent boats wouldn't crack like that in the first place. All credit goes to the crew. Buy them a pizza.

I don't see a mast. Where's the mast? Gotta have a mast....

How soon can you float her? Where will she/you be moored? Propulsion?

Have fun!

The mast is a new design - telescopic. Good in storms.

Progress

Without a warm-blooded woman to lavish attention on, I have contented myself with weekends sanding the bottom of my boat.

Oh yeah, fun times.

Painted the bottom and boot stripe this weekend. Here's your basic before/after.

Feral,

If you had been distracted by company, you wouldnt have finished the job, which looks gorgeous, so cheer up, life has its compensations.

And tomorrow is..........DELIVERY DAY yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

AS of this evening, its loaded on the truck at the yard and will be with me mid morning.

As for the mast, patience is a virtue, there will be a mast of sorts, something to hang the the flags on and keep the twigs out of harms way.

Beg to differ, Sweet Thang. Many hands make light work, so we would have done as much or more in the same amount of time. Then, we would celebrate our accomplishments with all of that found time.

MORE importantly, it would have been much more pleasant to do it in the context of a shared experience.

And thanks for the compliment. It came out awesome good!
