Boat work

ZH - now i just am able to grab wrench and have it fly out of my hands..usually onto the water....

Mine usually end up UNDER the water. You have floating wrenches? Kewl.

ZH - i love cooking, and men usually dont

I don't mind cooking, but I'm not a natural at it.

ZH - john--ye serious??!! i am always open for having work done--after all, i own a formosa41!!!!! they are always needing work! but ye are sooo far away!!!!

I've been known to travel a bit to meet interesting people; never say never.

ZH - i believe salltymonkey said we should have a rondayvooooz.....i like the idea---

Good luck with that. Btw, I vote we meet in NC - central on the east coast....

ZH - i have no problem sharing work on a boat..is easy to share it--is difficult to try to do it all yourself.--isnt that why we want our soulmate??

For me, the giving part is as big as the getting part. If we don't add something unique and wonderful to each others' lives, we're done before we start.

ZH - so we have company and empathy and cuddles and sex and serious arguments about where we are supposedly going and alladat>>.???and the making up part...lol...mmmmm.....
sharing work isnt the entirety of our seeking partnership, is it?

I prefer to skip the fighting part and let the sense of shared accomplishment and mutual attraction dictate what happens next. Ya need more than chemistry, ya need electricity with your biology.

SM: How about hooking up in Annapolis? Thats not only central it's a mecca. You could even do it Oct 7th at the Sail Boat Show?

Hmmm...I should start a SSSSM booth. Look for the monkey!

Jeez you guys ... get a room! Doncha think dates should be arranged by PM?

Feral, I like NC. But sounds like we're all pretty spread out.

Zee, my grip is pretty bad these days too. I used to be a hippy potter, hard on the hands, combined with an inherited case of the dreaded arthritis.

I agree there's plenty of work to go around. So if the folks involved love sailing and each other, the work will get done together somehow. But I'll confess that I love to watch men working with tools! All that effort and muscle and sweat ... and I'd gladly take up the slack elsewhere for the privilege.

Margo --

I'm in a room....alone.....naked. jk

I started to laugh out loud at that "men with tools" line - co-workers are dialing either security or the po-po.

Oops, here they come....

John,

I'm down below - the tools left in the cockpit - wearing only my black babydoll, now blushing while imagining ...

Haha, fun to play!

Really just surfing the web while cleaning. About to go do laundry. A few boxers would make no difference!

hail i am wearing boxers. (made by s.c.r.u.b.s.--used as shorts!) dont own a babydoll--dang i am deprived.....i only got tools in cockpit and grease on my legs..LOL

i put on this because is a good time for folks to start thinking about going sailing--if i am, everyone should be. also!

besides, what better way to meet folks than being crew for a big adventure.....granted ye only meet a few folks, but sometimes just a few is enough.....and, as crew, i can ask everywhere, yes?? you are invited too, ladies....for sailing i am not discrimminartory as to gender. personal life is different--i do like men....is why gods made them..lol....toys and service animals?? oh yes and our worldly protectors....man thing...sometimes for conversing, if he is smart enough to keep up....LOL...did i say i am mostly danish?? (seems there was a matriarchical bit in danish lore....same in druiids in scotland and other lil groups--i am referring very obscurely back--hope no one is offended. is all in fun!)(that was my official disclaimer, folks!)

oh yes--and the giving and taking--i am into that --i have always been the giver in my relationships--note the operative word.....

i dont dare say never--except in jest and to instigate folks.....
