I have a most incredible paperclip collection. All sorts of colours...but purple are my favorite because they are so rare to find. Could be worth a lot of money someday

And you know what? I used to get looked at funny a lot (I took my collection through 3 or 4 offices - over 5 years ) but if I had a £1 for every person who then turned up at my desk with a paperclip for my collection I would be rich

And the thing that sticks with me is...........the looks of dissapointment on their faces when I already had that example (especially if I'd had to check - builds up the anticipation ). Obviously I was only after 1 example of each, different shape or colour or size - anything else would be just weird

Ended up with a couple of hundred. and threw them all away. got bored..........and it was pre-ebay

For younger readers, it's stuff like this that used to happen in offices before the internet

How about work?
This month my work involved 11” rods w/ 9” minimum penetration, boring holes, hammer drills, jack hammers. It’s quite exciting work at times

I like to take my time, take in the fragrance, quaf a few back, rinse and repeat, a leasurly stroll down the board walk, throuh the valey's, into the woods (desert in some cases), find a cozy place to explore and depending on what is found go in deeper to rattle the undercarage a bit.
A good ratteling of the undercarage to determin if it's in tip top shape is always a good thing prior to the purchase.
