i dont know, smb--i wish she didnt--it was fun here in this place....i like all of you guys.... do we really need a mommy???? are we grown up yet??

i think i need crew in december or whenever i try to leave here--wanna sail with me for a bit....i dont know if anyone is going to show up here to help sail her---will be a bit of a long way for only one person to sail.

i was also hoping to get a few folks together who usually spend christmas and new yrs solo--isnt a fun spot to hang out in, so i was gonna try to improve on things.. if there is a way to get folks together for this i t might be a good idea.

Christmas spent with friends under a bridge! I could do that.

I think we should make it a goal to make sure no one is alone during the holidays. Maybe start a local social group like we did in texas (Texas group). good way to connect with CFers nearby.
Which reminds me, I will be in Corpus Christie for the Bay Yacht Club get together on the 18th, my mom is giving a talk about circumnavigating. Would love to meet some of ya, though not as a single soul mate thing, I have a crush .

i will prolly be solo sailing my boat to baja and spending the time solo. i dont know what anyone else is doing--i am getting out of sin diego. then i am seeking warm water. i am looking for crew for my boat--i am preferring not to have temporary crew, but a partner and friend and lover for my life. but that isnt gonna happen so i am going solo.

have fun searching for a boat to travel and cruise in--i have the perfect one. belongs to kat , so isnt a problem s far as picking up stray men, as the boat isnt mine but is bubba's.

of course, they DO have to get along with me just a bit...

i have a problem with crushes--they crush me---good luck and may all go beautifully for you.

And what is wrong with my hat? I like my hat! p-)

Looks like I'll be single handing too. I did that a bit when I cruised last time, but not much. I didn't like it then, hoping I'll like it more now. Crew or not, I'm outta here soon!

Regards,

Thomas

Y66, you look parisian and artistic which is good. I think you should also wear a beret.

Zeehag / Y66 - ok I will say it. Everyone thinking it anyway. I think you both should hook up!

Hook up? Naaaaa I don't date folks who don't shave their legs and pits and who can pee standing up. Sorry. I know that may make me seem prejudice to some here, but I am the way I am, pure hetero. Folks who swing the other way are fine by me to, it's just not for me.

Little Monkey, I've worn berets, that time has passed, Greek Fisherman's caps suit me just fine now. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Exactly my situation, Zee. But I'm on the opposite coast! So I'll have to find a different way not to be alone for any holidays, or non-holidays for that matter! Haha!

Any singles on the SE coast want to get together? I know cute Monkey and Feral are around here somewhere. Anyone else? Who's Mom - Ocean Girl?

I stepped away from posting here only temporarily. Was giving 'Plenty of Fish' a try. Lot of nice guys. But the thought of a relationship with someone who's shore bound just won't work for me now.

I'm going where my boat takes me no matter what!

Cheers!
Margo

I stopped so I could see where Earl was. Didn't want to move to the Carolinas just to get hit!! No effects here at all.

I'll probably move farther north now that that storm has gone by. But I don't know how far I'll get.

If you want a get together, I'd be sure to be there!
