Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

Everyone else is out having a REAL life experience, but not Saltymonkey who still thinks he can make ooodles of money in either working for someone elses startup or his own. And really, its just a BIG GAMBLE really because SaltyMonkey will nebber have a FAT PAYSTUB like Y66 comin in fer retirement from thr guvment, so he has to do someting or other to try. So he can take care of all his ex girlfriends. Hmmm 2% common stock of 2 billion dollars for this startup and he could actually take care of a few exes i bet, and maybe just maybe but an OVNI!

Hey Monkey Man..can I get in on that? I am trying to sail to Ireland this summer but I am broke. Need a little scratch...Hey I can type too..well, er better than Hag. Let me know if ye have a slot on the ground floor.

Well, zip them up, for god sakes! This is a family website. Oh ... it's not? Then keep 'em down!

Yeah, this winter was lots of pure white beaches, turquoise water, blah blah blah. But I survived. And more to come.

Probably won't make it to Panama this season - no crew and running out of time. Will likely go nest fall.

Ah, monkey. Chasing money is not a life. Hope you get out on the water soon!

fysci fysci! Ebbery one will be happY to hear from you, since its been some time! I imagine that zeezee and you may meet someday sailing, and I think you must be able to pickup a crew someplace or other in BVI, or some such nonsense cruising port? Then you could come to La Pez and eat some pez candy with zee zee. And Hurry-Come season isn't here yet and I think you will be ok in pananabananama? Right>>>?

Salty,

Have you been taking spelling lessons from Zee?

We'll see about Panama - haven't ruled it out yet. But must find crew. Not as easy as you might think!

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

Hey Zee, how goes the preparations for leaving for Mazatlan? Has David left you yet due to impatience with the time it's taking for repairs? That's what happened to me with the last crew I thought I had.

So hard, if not impossible to find someone more committed to the shared voyage than to their own experience. Can't really blame people though for being self interested.

That's why I'm still hoping for a mate to plan and execute cruises with, in a shared enterprise. I hope the same for you.

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

david is still with me and is awesomely patient...another crew tba at a different date--- top secret-- is here and we have to leave by a certain date or lose him. we are beating feet to make this work so this other (3rd) crew doesnt have to leave prior to departure. cant say more without corrupting the bet in progress..LOL

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

fysci/zeezee you all need to work around the clock...there are 24 monkey hours in a day and many many watches in between. All hands must work and get ready and then you will be gone byebye instead of endless waiting.

SaltyMonkey knows!

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

Oh my! My lack of Internet access of late is catching up to me! So, Zee, first you have crew now you are solo to Mazatlan....sounds like a story yearning to be told there....right? What's the plan for blow season which is rapidly approaching? Do you plan to tuff it out there in the old harbor or what?

Little Monkey you still making billions while I eat my mango's and pineapple?

I got tired of watching everyone else enjoy the water so I broke down and bought mask fins and snorkel for an outlandish amount of money here. Nice to get wet again though. Interesting critters in these waters too!

Back to the States soon to deal with my girl on the hard. I'm thinking of finding someone to sail her down here for me. Anyone looking for a delivery gig? Thinking Hawaii, Guam, here route departing from Oregon.

Regards,

Thomas

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

Ohhhh Zeeeee Turtle Bay is a good stopping point if you need fuel and a bit of a rest. Anchorage is good and there are a few restaurants open if you are tired of cooking.

Regards,

Thomas

Re: Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mate Group

I wish you well and hope the sea god's are kind to you during the blow season....well hell, all the time for that matter!

I think SV 3rd Day is hanging out down there in the old harbor as well. Say hi to them for me. Rich would be happy to sell you a new water maker and wind generator I'm sure.

Who knows, you might even run into me in those waters one day....but not during the blow season. Benn there, done that, no thanks once was enough.

Regards,

Thomas
