Seen this Past Week

Here is a shot of a massive crane going under the bay bridge. This was anchored off bloody point last weekend. Anyone know what iis purpose is and where it is going?

To me that looks like a specialized heavy lift ship transporting container cranes.......

Ship carrying container cranes collides with dredge barge | Articles & Archives | Archives | Professional Mariner, Journal of the Maritime Industry, Maritime Industry News

....hopefully the one you posted doesn’t have the same problems as the one in the link i posted.....

--that came from China.

This was taken last weekend actually Friday night. Winds peaked at about 60 knots. The lightening was incredible. It's actually pitch dark outside but the lightening had illuminated enough to appear as dawn.

Ship carrying the cranes passed under the key bridge and is docked in Seagirt Marine terminal, where all the container ships off load cargo.

Their capicities will aloow for the shipping to increas at the terminal.
