Say Hello by Video

Hi Folks,

After seeing Del's video I wondered if it might be kinda fun to say hello by video.

Here is just a little bit of us

Sea Life in Malaysia - featuring Todays Project!!!!!!

Could we see you too?

Mark

Great Video! I can see the resemblance between you Mark, and Ducky!

What camera were you using? I only have a digital that will shoot a very short Video but I've actually never tried to download one to the computer or upload to the net.

Thanks for allowing us aboard.

Excellent idea Mark! Its nice to see more than a 100x100 avatar. I hope to see more members doing this...(with a cleaner boat though). That's okay though, it looks like home.

We have the carpenter coming on today so a disaster it will stay for a few more days!

Then when we get our solar panels up the aft cabin can be cleared... boats are only like this in port. When cruising everyones boats are much better and the boat is happier!

Ken its a Sony cam corder, but I just videoed onto a memory stick as the tape part wont transfer to my computer.
Any digital camera these days seems to have a video function. Just use that and then its on the memory card. You drg it onto your computer and upload it to a thing like Youtube. Youtube is really quite easy. suprisingly easy!
Just keep the video short as that keeps the file size down

I would love to see other peole and their boats! Even if the boat looks like a tornado has whpped through it

Thumbs up Way to go Mark!

I think you have something going here. It sure would be a great way to really know each other. That's if one has nothing to hide.

Talk about looking like a tornado has whpped through. You wouldn't want to see mine right now. I'm in the process of installing a new motor

But hey! If anyone else and their boat wants to pipe in, go for it!

Great idea.
Nice layout.
The newest camcorders are pretty awesome. I would get one, but then I don't seem to use the ones I have very much. Usualy just births, weddings, kids soccer games.. etc.
But I think I should video my boat.. just got to figure out how to easily transfer it to mpeg..

My little hand held still camera has decent video capability up to at least 1024x768, and for as long as there is space on the stick (8Gb offers as much as I need!) Its only weakness is microphone capability is well below cam-corder capability.

Well now that you have thrown down the gauntlet (and everything else by the looks of things) lets see who takes it up and also posts. Maybe a whole new forum entitled 'ere we are on film'. Must go and see if our camera has the capability. ps: love the boat and congrats to Nic we are impressed.
