Samsung Kies
For those of you with Samsung phones that want to update the Android OS to Lollypop there is also a Kies update. I was having trouble installing the update so checked If I could install it on mSy Win 10 system. It installed fine and i did a backup of the phone contents but i didn't want to run the risk of a long OS "upgrade on Win 10. I finally was able to install the Kies upgrade on my Win 7 machine. I found there are 2 gotchas that are not mentioned in the Kies install.

1. The phone can not be connected when updating Kies.

2. The Kies update program must be run "as administrator" or on an Admin account.

There are no warnings, it just does not install.

By the way, Lollypop is taking a long time to install but its almost there.
