pirate Royal Wedding a British Tsunami

Like everyone on the CF planet, I'm watching the royals get married. Really a tidal wave of people marching in the street toward the palace.

As I watched the crowd, I spotted Boatman61 in a thong trying to look casual but you could tell he was as excited as anyone would naturally be. All sailors and lubbers alike have waited impatiently to see Catherine's dress.

I'd rather see her in a stringy bikini but maybe that''s just me.

Congrats to all the Brits around the world on this very special day!

The guy in the red jacket, standing next to boatman, is that Prince William.

Thank you.

NOPE not everyone, I have really better thing to do than watch that and I sincerely consider monarchies as an obsolete, totally useless and very costly thing.. when you think that Cameron put an austerity plan on the back of the British, and that all this nonsense is on taxpayer money.

An April 2011 poll of 2,000 British adults found that 35% of the public intended to watch the wedding on television while an equal proportion planned to ignore the event altogether. According to their reported plans, women were more than twice as likely (47%) to watch the event than men (23%).
The costs of the wedding itself will be met by the Royal Family and the Middletons themselves, while the costs of security and transport will be covered by the British treasury.

Still, they wouldn't be seen dead on Horse Guards Parade, but they are all watching on the telly. Green with envy.

Re: Royal Wedding a British Tsunami

A wonderful event, so many professed to be not interested but ended up watching it anyway.
They do seem to be a very genuine couple, and I can't help thinking how much his father should have married the love of his life but for the break they had early on, just like Harry and Catherine did, but again she waited, to be rewarded at last.
Charles and Camilla were the right pair, happy now, it's good that they got together inspite of the agonies they both went through to reach that point. A solid couple now to support the two princes and the new girl in their lives.
ps. Strike one prince of the Cruisers singles list! But there's still one to go unless Catherine's sister has caught his eye. What a gorgeous girl she is, and so elegant in that slim and simple dress.
The Quenn lent the tiara, made in 1936 by Cartier. The church has been the centre of the church of england for over a thousand years. A great day.
