I see now that raymarine have acquired tacktick from suunto which seems a pretty amazing turn around for a company who was on the verge of bankruptcy some 18 months ago

Raymarine did not turn around, Flir bought them out. New management, new engineers, new products and new manufacturing standards will greatly improve the product. Things are already starting to look up with the introduction of the new e7 about two days ago. Chuck
