Quick Look at My Route...Please :)

If you have a moment, especially if you use one of those weird computers or wacko browsers, could you have a look at my new route map on our website?

I kinda want to know if it doesn't work well, or is stupid. Or whatever

Its www.ourlifeatsea.com/route.html

Thanks muchly!

Mark

jeeze Mark. You're in gallipoli?? i am pea green here ; -)

looking at it in firefox 3.6.3

Map is way cool. head line above it is pretty big and seems to be splitting into 2 lines. might wanna size that pup down a bit. but it looks great! excellent addition.

Great Site

Mark,
It works great on a Mac running Snow Leopard with Safari. Since Macs are the only computers that matter, the site you can be confident that your website is operating perfectly!

Nice map by the way- what a great way to show your route!

Looks great on a Mac under 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard) on an Inter Powermac running Firefox 3.6.3

My only question is if it is a "feature" that there are gaps in the trip or if you input it as line segments that didn't quite join everywhere (South of Panama and at the Galapagos for example ).

Nice to see where you have been. Can you change the color of the rout line. The dark blue on the sea blue of the map is very hard to see for these old eyes.

Excellent addition to your website, Mark and Nicolle. I'm also MacBook / Snow Leopard / Firefox 3.6.3. I think blogs or websites without some form of map tracing the route are, very much, "lacking."

Best wishes for a continued Excellent Adventure!

I thought I typed in: "Red, PulsatING" Obviously Bill Gates screwed it up. I will kick his butt and tell him to fix it.

I tried to blast your bridge with my spot light, and then got deeply offended when ToeJones told me that he just clicked the link again.

Fairly new MacBook Pro, but no luck with the route - screen says I need to download Google Earth. Guess I better get onto that soon, as I would like to see your route map. In addition to being quite envious of how you have managed to put together the whole "cruising thing", I enjoy your posts all the time, but I never have figured out where you started, nor where you are!

Well, it loads in IE8. Although Active-X is just another security problem waiting to happen and I'd rather see web sites without it, regardless of the source.

But it loads and shows a 'space photo' of half the earth, leaving the user to manually guess where to scroll (the blue line is rather tiny and not obvious) and then zoom down. Isn't there a way to have it automatically snap and zoom? Or at least center on the current position?
