I have just joined this interesting and informative site and thought I would share a message from an
email I recieved from a mate during the recent
Queensland floods and cyclone.
He said that the the
water was waist deep outside his house with thunder,
lightning and continuous torrential rain.
He was most worried about his wife, who just stood at the kitchen window staring and crying.
He said that if conditions got any worse that he may have to let her back in!
He obviously doesn't own curtains.
A joke to start off with on a forum that I hope to be able to contribute to in a more serious way.
