Proud Daddy

Slightly off topic but the kid is goin' to College! He wants to be a welder/fabricator. Maybe even a future boat builder, who knows! At least he's fired up about somethin'. For the last few years all it's been is Internet & Heavy Metal and his tatoo'd/pierced girlfriend! (actually she's not a bad kid).

Just in time too, I have a bunch of hardware items I need fabricated for our trawler project!

Nuttin' wrong with havin' a good Trades ticket in your back pocket!!

The down side is he picked the most expensive course they offer so ole' Dad's gotta rustle up some cash for tuition/books/barracks & victuals. *sigh*

There is a thing called a phone.

Congrats to you and to him for getting into the course.

Yes, congrats! I myself recently finished up my schooling only a year ago. It's definitely a journey...I'm sure there will be ups and downs but that is part of life. Once again, congrats to you and your son.
