Nice photos, but what's the story behind the event?

When I looked a few weeks back at the results, I saw that you finished the first couple of races and then had dns's. Did you get too drunk after race 2 and locked up by the police preventing you from doing the rest of the races?

Re: Pro Boats Photos of MY Boat ! :)

Good stuff! One does tend to see a lot of (self-taken) photos of ones own boat, at anchor, taken from the dinghy, so it is particularly satisfying when one gets to see photos of our boats doing what they are designed to do. I keep every photo of my boat that I ever find, and the ones I like best are always under full sail.

The next day the wind was 25 knots and gusting up and we had a windward/leeward course. So as we only had 3 on board we thought the beach would be a nicer.

The race to Jolly Harbour was gunna be rough so we decided to tow the dinghy (not a good race startegy), go inside the reefs, and continue on to Barbuda for a week or snorkeling. Of course we did the parties at Jolly Harbour before heading to Barbuda!

So the yelow chickens flag may have been closer to the truth. But, hey, with guests on board who wants life too tough? One of the guys in the downwind Jolly Harbour leg said it hit 36 knots. I don't mind missing that

Damn glad the photos were taken when they were! LOL

G'Day Mark,

Nice shots indeed... but mate, they look like you were sailing to windward, all sheeted in and stuff. Don't you know that boats with fin keels and like that pound so badly going to windward that it is, like, dangerous? Have you taken leave of your senses?

Well, I guess even senseless Aussies can have a good time, so glad that things are working out well for you.

Cheers,

Jim

If it wasn't for the fact that you have completed a rtw, with the last bit solo, I'm sure you would be written off as a fair weather bent toy sailor. You dont want to be giving the bluewater boat brigade that sort of ammunition. You better redeem yourself and wait for the hurricane season and then venture out.
