When I looked a few weeks back at the results, I saw that you finished the first couple of races and then had dns's.
The next day the wind
was 25 knots and gusting up and we had a windward/leeward course. So as we only had 3 on board we thought the beach would be a nicer.
to Jolly Harbour was gunna be rough so we decided to tow the dinghy
(not a good race startegy), go inside the reefs
, and continue on to Barbuda for a week or snorkeling. Of course we did the parties at Jolly Harbour before heading to Barbuda!
So the yelow chickens flag may have been closer to the truth. But, hey, with guests on board who wants life too tough? One of the guys in the downwind Jolly Harbour leg said it hit 36 knots. I don't mind missing that
