Thats not the problem though id suggest. When you look at where most bulk fish stocks caught go to.

Re: Poaching vessel Thunder sinks

Sorry but the shooting up of unarmed fishing boats is quite unacceptable. Much as I am opposed to poaching the ARA was quite out of order on this one.

'Attempted to ram the prefectura boat'? I don't see that in any of the vids that are on the net thus far. I think we may be waiting a very long time before we do see anything of the sort....

Good thing. About time nations took poaching (and piracy) seriously. If they won't stop, they should be 'stopped'!

Ping, the actually sinking occured at night time I believe. So it might be difficult to have video of the last actions.

Regardless, I understand your desire to jump to the defence of the poachers so quick?

Re: Poaching vessel Thunder sinks

I presume that was a typo... I'm not jumping to the defence of any fish or squid poachers.

Just saying that it is not the done thing to shoot at unarmed ships even if they are poaching.

A bit like shooting at unarmed housebreakers as they run off down the street.

Mind you its a bit of a pot/kettle thing with the chinese.

It will be interesting to see what effect this has on Mr Macri's attempts to liberate Argentina from Chinese control.

Where did you read that the ramming occured at night?

Argentina's Coast Guard Sinks Trespassing Chinese Ship After Attack

Typo? squid?

A report shared on Facebook said the 'sinking' was at night time following the chinese vessel manouvering so that the coast guard had to take evasive action. NSM report. But I don't seem to be able to post a link, I presume because it's in fb?

True. H O is Dihydrogen monoxide. H is hydrogen, the sub 2 means 2 hydrogen
2
atoms, valence plus one per each, and O is only one oxygen, valence minus two, iirc from high school chemistry, a long time ago.

Please, somebody fix this for me if i'm wrong!

this page might help to explain the dangers of this stuff.

Facts About Dihydrogen Monoxide

And it's a reliable source cause it's got .org in the link, so it's got to be good.

{Posted because I didn't see or notice any other reference on CF.}

Fishing vessel VIKING blown apart and sunk.

But..... That's REALLY close to shore. Maybe bottomed out & flooded, so now unusable, but still accessible for scrap-metal?
