We've been out since July last year. Currently on Porto Santo just north of Madeira, on our way home.

I wish I was out on my boat too. My boat is out of the water for maintenance. It's been out of the water since December and I haven't done the first thing on my to do list.

Re: Ok So Who Is Actualy Out Sailing This Weekend???

I've been averaging about three day sails a month for the last ten months, since the purchase last year.

Gave notice at the marina last month, now on the hook in the bay.

Sometime in the next week or so I'm off on my first cruise up the west coast of Florida to Alabama waters somewhere. I'm going to take my time and hope to be on the boat full time for at least two months for this cruise. Have no idea where I'm going to at all.

Can't express how much I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead.

Re: Ok So Who Is Actualy Out Sailing This Weekend???

Just got back from 6 months sailing in the Bahamas. Taking a week or two off (frankly I don't want to look at a boat right now) and then I'll be rigging my CS36M that's sitting at her berth. Haven't laid eyes on her since last fall. Here's a couple of pics of "Breathless" in Key Biscayne last December.

Been living aboard cruising for 6 yrs. Dont see any long dock stays in my future. Losing my soulmate to chemotherapy this year hasnt altered my plans.

Re: Ok So Who Is Actualy Out Sailing This Weekend???

We've decided to become fair-weather sailors this weekend because it's rainy, blustery and just plain ugly. As a matter of fact, I fired up the diesel furnace this morning. First weekend in more than a month that the boat remains in its slip.

Re: Ok So Who Is Actualy Out Sailing This Weekend???

I'm on the boat, but we are not sailing this weekend.
She has her little wings tucked and is resting in Grenada while I watch the hurricane advices.

We will stay at rest for the season.... except for a few short trips

Basically very little sailing.

God I know what you mean about feeling landlocked. Hopefully I'll get out tomorrow though.

Leaving for the boat in a few hours, will be going out on Tuesday for 9 days. I suppose we are not sailing THIS weekend, but will be the NEXT one! Will see if I can post pics.
