Re: New Power Generator that relies on magnets

I know it sounds unbelievable, however the device was actually built first by a man named Floyd Sweet. He called it the VTA or vacuum triode amplifier. The guy I know was really into free energy and decided to replicate the VTA. He got it to work after a lot of experimentation. You all can look it up online and draw your own conclusions.

Ahhh... why didn't you tell us it was on the internet? Would have dispelled all our doubts and worries about conflicts with physics.

Ah-ha, AKA the old Space Quantum Magnifier, so it's yet another zero point energy extraction device.

Trouble is, both sides will be against it.

The evil fossil fuel industry will suppress this, just like they have all of the very similar inventions in the past.

And the greens will be dead set against it as well, because, to quote a well known doomsayer: “Giving society cheap, abundant energy would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun.”

Being openminded, I did look it up. Interesting.

What is your engineer friend's specialty?

Did he say what aspect of the device necessitated the many trial and error efforts?

Don't knock it. I have one of those. It's sitting on my work bench right now, just next to my flux capacitor.

Exactly like the 200 mpg carburetor. I have a friend that knows someone who's brother-in-law actually saw one of these in a secret room at a secret lab at Exxon.

I actually used to have one of those 150 mpg carbs .while not quite 200 mpg it did a great job.
BTW mine was made by mikuni

I disagree. There is no mention of heat, combustion, or fuel, so thermodynamics don't come into play.

I believe it defies the principle of conservation of energy...you can't make energy out of nothing.

However, you can apparently make a thread out of nothing.

Re: New Power Generator that relies on magnets

It extracts the energy present in the hard vacuum of space and converts it to usable watts. What's the big deal here? It's about time someone finally did this! We're free at last.

Doesn't a solar panel work like that? Especially when mounted to an orbiting satellite

I love the idea of sailing the sea. I also love the idea of being completely self sufficient. I have a friend who is a talented engineer. This thing was no bigger than a brick and literally powered a 500 watt load when powered with an input of a few watts (9 volt battery). I watched this guy use it for a week to power some appliances on his boat. He was telling me the other day about plans he had to scale it up and power a Dehler 38 sailboat completely!

Have any of you ever heard of anything like this? If you had a device like that would you feel comfortable using it exclusively to power appliances on your boat when you are out at sea?
The law of conservation of energy, the thermodynamic laws, Newton's laws of motion, etc makes your claim fanciful. You can't extract 500W from a few Watts for any practical time frame.

To generate 500W continuosly you will need to input more than 500W. Perpetual motion machines don't exist.
