Here is an ignorant question. I haven't been to the Islands in over two decades. I plan to carry a 9mm and shotgun on board. What can I expect if boarded and the guns are found on board? Do I tell them I have them. Do I tell customs? Is there a need to have guns on board traveling to the Bahamas and the Out Islands?

CF what has been your experience with this issue?

on the high seas,they are just ships equipment,you might have more problems explaining a rocket launcher though

@vtcapo,

Using the search feature on the forum would yield many, many, many gun threads and people's views from this forum on guns and cruising.

Maybe start there before starting another guns and cruising thread.

Hint: Im not sure I have seen a gun thread yet that wasnt eventually closed...

I search for 6' inflatable. Was seeing adds for blowup dolls for months after that...

I use a blocker, used it for 3weeks and have soon 2000 blocks of sneaky add and tracking companies that tracks you whiteout your knowledge.
Its called Do not track plus and is free to download.
You can allow CFs adds if you want to suport.

In Internet Explorer 9 and higher you can block ads without any add-ons...
