Don't know why this jumped into my head but remember the movie The Horses Mouth w Alec Guinness? Knottyboys pic looks just like something his character Gully Jimson would have lived on and sailed... somewhat disreputable and a bit improbable..

The owner goes to battle reinactments and shoots his seven cannon off for the spectators.
There's a fiberglass hull under all that wood!

The mast and boom is of the boat behind it (Hunter) so not to be confused.

This may not be a nautical oddity but it still got a second look from me as I looked over my stern this summer. The rocks in the background are probably off of Forrest Island and that's Stuart Island of the San Juans in the background.
