Re: Nautical Oddities

Thanks for the memory, Rhapsody-NS27... I drove one of those in my youth in the booming grounds in the PNW making up log booms to tow down the coast. Great fun, hard work but made good money! Cheers, Phil

Post office willnot deliver with scotch tape either....so what are you trying to get at?

By the way...I bet you 5 bucks I can send you a package wrapped in NOTHING BUT duct tape....thru the U.S. post office....And I can prove it....It will be a package with a 100 dollar bill in it and it will be insured for 200 dollars. We will let the post office be the judge on weather it was delivered or not. In exchange you will let someone we both agree on to hold 105 dollars, payable to whomever wins....
SO...if you win you get 100 bucks, if I win I get 5 bucks....wanna bet? On 2nd thought....I'd wanna win a hundred bucks too....give the honest guy 200 bucks....If you get the package, I get the original 100, plus the 100 you bet....

DEAL?

Once they get spotted, they are dead. Nowhere to run to quick when sitting in a kayak.

Not being spotted is the whole point. The Klepper folding kayak has been in tactical use since WWII, many legendary commando raids were carried out by its use. One if its big advantages is that it is easily carried on and deployed by submarine. The man in the bow in this case carries a SAW, firing on him could be a poor idea....

A young Afghan migrant was found yesterday, trying to cross the English Channel on this.
