news from Moscow (+)

flashmovie is here ; not all of you read Russian so, to watch the movie,
please open the webpage and do as indicated below, смотреть = watch

WHAT HAPPENED: A RICH RUSSIAN GUY BOUGHT A NEW MOTORBOAT
as they said on TV, it was 1,600,000 EUR worth.
So a company of 7 people, including pregnant wife of lucky owner
came to celebrate this bargain
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT: they started the engine - unmoored - hit another
boat, approximately same size and value - and STRANDED !
that all happened on a half-mile distance in 10 minutes time
on the Moscow river, within city limits; all company, including owner
and (possibly ?) captain - - disappeared ;

what you see there are navigation results and comments of driven-crazy fellow boaters

OH, THOSE RUSSIANS

Wait till those Lilliputans find out that we are giants. They are going to crap themselves.

Amphicars are/have been all the rage eh? When I was a kid my uncle worked at a Dodge dealership and brought home one of their amphicars for a test drive.

At the opposite end of the rich-poor spectrum: For sale on Ebay, a nice fishing boat. Complete with a cabin!

Fishing boat, unique design just add outboard and paint on eBay, also, Dinghies Boats, Sailing, Sporting Goods (end time 05-Oct-08 20:36:06 BST)

Hey! Thats Desdemona's Cosmic muffin!

You know Jimmy Buffet sings about Desdemona in the song "Fruitcakes" and she and the ship, which coincidentally she goes to the islands aboard, in the book "Where's Joe Merchant?"

Now that is a Jimmy Buffet Fan...
