Little Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island

There is nothing whatsoever "missing" in any of these boats. Each was an idea which obviously worked in its own way. This one is quite sophisticated. I grew up with far less and thought I owned a beautiful yacht!

Well at least the way the experienced was described, it gave that above impression.

The Fruit Man, from Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. You can't help but buy something from this guy! Not a sailboat, but I bet he has to take windage into account!

We didn't see him this year. He is pretty amazing. He lives in Soufiere and takes the bus each morning and overloads his boat with fruit then sells what he can and then takes the bus home. With bus transfers that has to be over 2 hours each way. I'm not sure if he is a better entertainer or a fruit vendor.

His flag collection is much larger than your picture shows. He has a wood framework around the boat so he can hang more flags.

The road to nowhere!

I spotted this curiosity while surfing GoogleEarth. What's shown here is a section of the old Kings Highway (#2) just off Morrisburg On. This portion of the roadway and 7 villages (IIRC) were relocated and submerged when the St. Lawrence Seaway was flooded.

That's cool. I bet everyone is aware that Hawaii has 3 interstate highways. Figure that out - LOL.
