These are all oddities for sure...however, my vote for the oddest has to go to "The Son Of Town Hall"...

I've just thought of something. All these weird looking contraptions must take a long time to build... but how many times has the owner actually used tem?
Driving a plane shell around the bay might be fun once.... but each saturday of summer? |

I agree, Mark. Someone should have advised all these eccentric builders to build boats instead of nautical oddities. They are funny to look at for a few seconds, but they become an eye-sore in under a minute.

Some people cruise to get to a destination.
Some people just enjoy the act of cruising and the art of navigation. Some people build a boat because they want a boat. Some people just enjoy the act of building and the art of design. Most people are a combination of both types, just in varying degrees. |
