Mussel-Eating Mackerel

This was found at my family's boatyard. Weird. He thought he was getting a snack.

wow thats freaky was the mussel still on what ever it was clinging too or was it just floating in the water ? cheers andy

That's something that doesn't happen often! Most fish react well enough to swim away when the mussel closes. Either that fish wasn't very aware or it was very hungry!

that is wierd, i once saw a small kingsnake eating a cotton mouth twice it's size.
