Massive nose!

A gigantic conk! A massive hooter!

Why do so many old time sailors have such big noses? - and usually red and pitted too. I've met so many now, it can't be coincidental?

I've never seen a surfer with this, not even on an 84 year old who still surfs every day. Thus, in lieu of any help from Google (hard to search for, many false positives!) I would guess that it's salt crystals blocking the pores on the outside of the nose.

Thus I recommend washing your nose!

Re: Massive nose!

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, jago.

Interesting observation.

Re: Massive nose!

Pinocchio syndrome....

"A Pinocchio sufferer is an individual who is prone to telling lies, fabricating stories and exaggerating or creating tall tales for various reasons.

A side effect of Pinocchio syndrome is the nose becomes larger, or longer when he/she is under stress, especially while lying."
