Nothing became of the DNR boarding my boat, I still would have not even known if not for what he told me, said they had boarded a larger yatch just down from me that was there for about a week, as well as checked on a small boat by shore, and also my sailboat. Edwin who is down river around the bend also had a visit by them around the same time, but evidently no problem there either... Evidently they were simply making some rounds.
As for the golfer, no.. Don't recall his name, only barely know him but have seen him around for many years. I did ask a guy who lI casually know who lives at the house from where the golf balls were hit from, and he told me "No, he wasn't trying to hit your boat, he was practicing his swing" (this was after I discovered your post describing the situation, which may have occurred the same day I saw him golfing there) .
I can only wonder and don't actually know for sure what had occurred.
I do however know this much.. There is a odd spot of damage right by the deck hull joint around the middle of the boat that wasn't there before. Didn't have a camera with me at the time, but will grab a pic of it next time I go out there probably early next week.

Re: LEO and unwelcome sailors.
Not sure what the courtroom reference above means.. and didn't notice the date of you being on Tybee 2 post up, so sorry we didn't meet up (I got your PM), but the timing was just bad, but next time your around would love to have a few beers.
Didn't go out to my boat this week as planned, but will take a picture as soon as I do.
Haven't seen or heard about any more flying golf balls on the back river.

Re: LEO and unwelcome sailors.
His golfing tee platform is still there as of 23 August. Looking forward to the time we can socialize and talk vessels and techniques. 👍

Re: LEO and unwelcome sailors.
So, after obstructing a jury, G.R. Smith, has retired as a Judge.
Law Enforcement on Tybee Island have stolen video recording devices while in view of the Judge in Municipal Court.
The Judge has stated, “I’m afraid to talk to you, Mr Brinson.” Agents of Tybee Island, assaulted a DAV in court, forcefully pushing me out of court, while yelling, “Your case is over.!” [emoji38]🤣
Yes, clowns.

I see, understand you’re surrounded by anchors and the police like golf
So guess I should say
the chair is against the wall
John has a long mustache

You’re right.
I do wonder, why they would decline telling it to the Jury.
Such a good job, of attempted extortion and all.

Re: LEO and unwelcome sailors.
Season 5 episode 14. The sea was angry my friend....the great fish...whale...whatever...the waves were crashing...I reached in the blowhole and removed the obstruction...titleist...hole in one.
The golfer in question clearly has no idea of the penalties under Federal law, specifically the Endangered Species Act, for disrupting the feeding, resting or mating behavior of manatees. This includes manatee behavior such as teeth flossing using vessel anchor lines. If anyone has photographic evidence of this golfer driving balls in this manner, please send me a private message and I assure you this matter will be forwarded to Federal authorities for investigation.
Manatee abuse and manatee habitat pollution are Federal crimes.
I extend thanks to the original poster for bringing this matter to my attention.
Excerpts from Seinfeld were not authorized hence incomplete.
Mark, an undisturbed manatee.

Too funny.

Chomsky was wrong about that, and with great consequences for his theory. I proved it when I was a philosophy student:
"In the next primary elections, we will have the great showdown between the three splinters of our great environmental movement -- the left-wing red green movement, the right-wing white green movement, and our own apolitical green movement -- whom the others disparagingly refer to as the "colorless green movement".
They say that our ideas are sleeping.
But colorless green ideas sleep furiously. The silent majority of our movement will come out and win this primary for us."
This is about the limits of semantics. Chomsky had a much too narrow view; ignoring the metaphorical use of language which is fundamental to language; even basic vocabulary is built metaphorically. It's been a while since I've done any reading in this field, but I seem to recall that Chomsky later revised these views.

Re: LEO and unwelcome sailors.
Great thread - glad to see it revived.
And to add to my personal confusion, I read LEO = low earth orbit.
