It Is Just Possible that I Will Set Foot on a Boat in the Near Future . . .

For those of you who don't know I spent the last 9 months separated from love of my life to try and sell my house . Love of my life has in the meantime bought a boat, which I have only seen in pictures so far.

Well, today I had a couple visit the house and they want it !!!! Even the price they offer in this climate is reasonable. Tomorrow they will come over to discuss details of paperwork etc .

Kind folks, please keep your fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong and I might just be able to graduate to actually having been on a sailboat. Of course to me it means more -the world - to fall into his arms again, but I gotta tell the story so it interests you all ,too ...

Hi Adax.....

Although am new to the forum, as a fellow boater and lady who has the love of my life (gratefully) near by, I understand excitement of a successful sell and the desire to be with your mate. Hoping all goes as you wish and you have a fast journey to your love and the new boat!

Well, Lady, I wonder who might the fortunate man you are talking about be.
But remember that he could ask you to bring two more girls, between 18 and 25, just for fun, as sailors can be sometimes a little bit hungry, a little bit thirsty, and a little bit crazy...
I cross my fingers so all your dreams come true.
best wishes

Sailing Mermaid,Boatman and Zee thank you all .

Kumgang.....! Words fail me .... But you mean well (I think...). However it is very unlikely that one woman will like the curtains on a boat, let alone three! The set up you propose can really only be handled by well to do sailors . One better sticks with one . More chance talking her out of said curtains and the pressure cooker and the solar shower and hanging the washing off the halyard ( a bikini top signifies that this boat is taken - move on ladies ),and moving the malbec collection to make room for make up set

Women are like boats - a lot of work when they wanna be ....

Some you win ,some you lose. The house sale seems to be going ahead, the love story no . He wants no live tigether situation but keep his freedom and live on the boat for us to meet as and when . And no, a bigger boat with live aboard is not a possibility he would consider. So 2-3 months to replan my life.
Thanks for all you kind wishes ,it helped with the house sale.

I would dearly love to get my own boat, but am way to unprepared to do so in 2 months .So sad .

Thank you Captain58 and boatman . Your kind words are appreciated. Thinking about the Julius Caesar quote as to which way the tide is pulling me.

Berg, yes in a nutshell that was the timing of it , but I won´t speculate in forum as he deserves his privacy. I love the guy in spite of everything.

If you are in the area I will gladly take you up on the offer minus the salt spraying haha. You might see in another thread that I am looking at the possibility of my own boat ,early days, loads of doubts as I had never though that I would need this option.
