Inspirational song - LRB Cool Change

I was listening to some old Aussie classic music from my younger days when I came across "Cool Change" by Little River Band

The lyrics are just perfect for anyone sitting in a dull office and dreaming of tossing in the job to go cruising.

Hoppy, great song. I've lived on boats since I was 19. Moved off to go to nursing school. I remember getting in my car after work and this song was on the radio. It was like a hammer hit me in the head, the ocean girl in me demanded to be back on the water. I was back aboard within 6 months . I still remember the complete joy when I realized I was going to be on the water, amazed I had held out so long. Kinda like I'd been holding my breath the whole time I was on land.

Boats To Build is the song that did it for me back on a chilly November afternoon with the sun setting behind the western hill of the harbor back in 1999. It was while listening to the song I decided to give up a pretty good full time job and spend more time on the water. One of the best decisions I ever made. Took a few months to make it happen but, so glad I did:

I really like "Cool Change" also.

For an inspirational song that truly changed my life it would be Nickleback's "If Today Was Your Last Day". There isn't a line that doesn't make me think - wow. It's a rock song so not everyone would like it and it doesn't have anything to do about sailing.
