The irony is that the term "bigot" itself was originally a term of abuse against "us" Normans for refusing to bow to the French (and of course in PC land it is once again a term of abuse ).

Re: In the VI's, how lucky do I have to be to get lucky?

Not *entirely* true, boatman61. From Wiki: "
The Normans were the people who gave their name to Normandy, a region in northern France. They were descended from Viking conquerors of the territory and the native population of mostly Frankish and Gallo-Roman stock. Their identity emerged initially in the first half of the 10th century, and gradually evolved over succeeding centuries. The name "Normans" derives from Nortmanni (Northmen), after the Vikings who founded Normandy."

Funnily enough the Normans probably the first examples of integration in action - created a mini empire over several centuries - and never really got defeated (in the classic fall of empire way), more got bred into the locals.......and allegiances changed with them.

Helluva commute though

The Normans were fr Scandinavia, they robbed in Northern France and then when they met little resistance decided to stay in what today is callled Normandy, they intergrated and then about 40 years later attacked England in 1066 at the battle of Hastings shooting king Harold in the eye with an arrow! They took over England and in 1086 wrote the Doomsday book which was the first detailed land documentation of its time, 75% of the English lost their land!!!

Anyway.....Back to Fat TY.....how can we get him fixed up?

Naw, the point was that judgemental self-rightous characterations of people different than "us" is not what this forum is for.

But then I just made a judgemental self-rightous characteration, so there ya go.

Re: In the VI's, how lucky do I have to be to get lucky?

I have to say, in all sencerity, I started off on this thread with a lie. I said that I was "single-handing".

After further study, and with your kind help to sort out the crux of my delema, I want to make clear that I do, in fact, have two (perfectly good) hands.

Sounds like I'm going to need every one of them...

P.S. I'm ambridextrous so, I got that going on. I also have a very small penis.

Please pray for me...

It's still all about "getting lucky" because that what those guys were doing, except you didn't need any luck then, just a big sorwd. No double meanings intended.

Checking the lay of the land...

There have been a few instances in the Philippines where intending romeos have not fully checked for the girls entanglements before making their intentions known.

Being in a strange country with few friends and an enraged ex boyfriend/husband/lover/father on the prowl is not good for your health.
