I saw a boat by King Harbor, behind the Redondo Beach pier last hallowen that had plastic gun turrets and cannon hanging off the side and pirate girl mannequin in the rigging.

There’s numerous web-sites devoted to Pirate Names:
Ie:

The Pirate Name Generator Game!
Pirate Name Generator - What is Your Pirate Name Game - PirateMerch.com

Your Pirate Name
StupidStuff.ORG - Your Pirate Name

Or, goto Pirate links at:
International Talk Like A Pirate Day - September 19th

For those would be pirates, a few points of character that you will need to adopt if you do not already have them now:

Never ever wash, you may live above the water but swimming is for the fish and those sent off the plank to Davey Joanses locker. The smell is a defensive measure to keep the royal navy & everyone else away from their ship.

Curse and swear as much as possible. Just like I was doing two days ago trying to weld a Stainless rail outside in a 25knot southerly (booked the use of the dock and power for the purpose).

To be a pirate Captain, you have to have only one eye and a patch.

Long flowing beards with dreadlocks are also the go for captains, mere crew will walk the plank if they dare to copy the captain !
