We're in the medical field and doctors and
therapists use faxes a lot.

Here's another thing. The fax viewer on
micrapsoft can only print the whole fax. If
we want to print, say, page 35 of a 50 page
fax, we cannot do it. At least not on that
computer unless we install a program that
changes .tif to .bmp or some such rigamarole.

Yeah, yeah, yeah you know of a download
that'll do it for free. Uh huh, we've already
spent too much on tech time with computers
to screw up another one. We'll just waste
the paper.

My first programming was in '64 on the Dartmouth timesharing system using Basic. My f'ing college Fortran project on punch cards never did compile properly. Thirty years later, my 15 yo son was working in my Internet startup and gives me the "look". As in, don't ask how I did that. You wouldn't understand. My colleagues in health care think I'm a techie. My son. Not so much.

Do what you can and enjoy it. Let the young stand on our shoulders.
