Here in Washington state they have a 30 day anchoring law no more than 30 days at a time then have to move min of 5 miles but if they see you in town spending bucks locally they tend to overlook the 30 day laws.

This is a tragic story that should teach us all lessons. Little ones should always wear a life jacket when on the boat and netting around the lifelines is clearly a necessity with little ones on board. I know that we've (my wife and I) have been tempted to say, "it's ok, she doesn't need her life jacket right now" but this is a powerful reminder and I'm glad we've been pretty diligent about keeping three year old in her jacket and tethered. I feel for their loss.

Guys this child's unfortunate death has nothing to do with live aboards. For all we know this could have been a family on a week long trip.

We all feel for the family. It is a tragic event.

I wouldn't recognize a pic of my little bro, as a child without one. I got rid of mine after Pop had thrown me over enough times, Somehow he was always in the water before me.
