Kind of. Its made from dead yeast cells from beer manufacturing. Thats why Aussie kids are a bit cross-eyed: at 6 months old they are drunk!

It is to lots of people because to most "it" can never happen here. Bad things only happen to others in 3rd world countries. There is a giant false sense of security that many many people have which makes any serious catastrophe a laughing matter. I like the idea of being prepared for anything, it makes me feel comfortable. That anything could be disease, war, terror, civilian uprising against government, or.............loosing my job and having to survive on very little. If I am "prepared" then I can live off my supplies and feed my family while making sure what money I have left goes to keeping shelter and other important things. To me another depression is something worth preparing for.

But hey Ebola only happens on tv in africa not in my country no one will ever travel here and spread it. Isis doesn't have cells across the world. Russia doesn't want to invade my country. China doesn't own most of our currency and can bring us to our knees without warning.......wait all of those can happen. I think a boat in isolation sounds pretty damn sane to me.

fortunately malaria is mainly limited to tropical areas,but ebola has the prospect of making urban areas no go zones......world wide,now their are reserviours in humans of the diesese.

The sad thing is that with a half dozen "crop dusters" we could save millions. I hoped when General Electric developed their first small turboprop and I certified the first airplane to use it, that I could interest them in doing just that, I tried.
Imagine the publicity "General Electric turbines save millions of children per year" I thought sure they would go for it.
