We may be 66 and 84 but at least the Rangers didn't score 30 against us.

Translation: We (the Pittsburgh Pirates) may be 66 (wins) and 84 (losses - now 85), but at least the (Texas) Rangers didn't score 30 (runs in one game) against us (the Pittsburgh Pirates). (As the Texas Rangers did against the Baltimore Orioles on August 22, 2007.)

Who the hell comes up with these brain fart type idea's.
There must be a "special job" for someone somwhere. They sit in a little office with one light and there sole role is to come up with a reason for each day of the year, never to be repeated within a five year cycle.

The department of..........????
