While I've spent days wandering the Louvre and admiring Turners at the National Gallery and at the Metropolitan, my favorite water-themed picture has always been the Kanagawa wave:



While any originals of this image are priceless, I did manage to get one or two of his lesser known woodblocks in the 1970's before they became overpriced collector items.

Kanagawa wave awesome!

Some of you might have noticed el Pinguino has a new avatar lately. Pretty cool sculpture near Cape Horn which I think is some kind of memorial. Maybe he can provide a better explaination. My spanish is not so great.
