Friday Morning Coffee and Weather

Good Morning All,

I have a fresh pot of Tim Horton's coffee brewed for sharing. Help yourself to a cup to enjoy your morning!

Weather here is -6F, wind SW 4mph and clear. High of.....16F Later!

I'll spend part of today reading An Embarrassment of Mangoes by Ann Vanderhoof, so that will give me my warm weather, sandy beaches, palm tree, Caribbean fix! Ahhhh!

Wherever you are, have a Great Day everyone.

Good morning, just poured my first cup...

I'm anchored off the ICW a few miles north of Charleston. I plan to meet an old Marine buddy there later today and show him my boat.

We've been friends for almost 30 years and he's the one who got me started on a trip to the Bahamas back in 1987. Should be a nice day...

Re: Friday Morning Coffee & Weather

Mornin'. It's a tall glass of sweet iced tea for me this morning.

Temp is 39F right now with the sun just rising, and heading to 61F with mostly clear skies today.

I'll be finishing a replacement of my raw water intake seacock once I'm fully conscious and generally coherent.

Hopefully I'll get away from the dock today or tomorrow for a sail on Perdido Bay, just off the ICW on the Gulf coast of Alabama. Winds are less than 10 from the North today and 15 from the north tomorrow though with more cloud cover.

I really need to get a sail in, cause I'm stressing a little over life in general.

Ahoy Saskatchewan neighbour - couldn't sleep eh??

6.7C here, about an hour north of Houston. Finishing up a cup of tea before I go over to my current project to inspect the concrete pour that was supposed to start three months ago but finally got going yesterday. A long way from Cow Bay but maybe we'll be back there by mid-January.

60 degrees in Fernandina Beach. Cloudy but no rain. Nice cup of tea, bacon and eggs and then it's off to Green Cove Springs to get some bottom paint and then to Jacksonville to stock up at Costco. Hope to get the bottom painted this weekend and then we're off.

Yup, it was an early to bed, early to rise situation!

So far USA, South Pacific, Portugal and Canada are awake. Looks like some other places are sleeping in this morning! Time to rise & shine.

Re: Friday Morning Coffee & Weather

I'm at 3500 ft in the mountains of NC having my first cup of coffee. Mid 20's right now with a high of 45 so warm enough to go for a little jog up the mountain. Boat is 8 hours away on the Cheaspeake.

Re: Friday Morning Coffee & Weather

32 F, bright sunny in Annapolis. 3rd cup. Broke the wife out of the hospital a few days ago. Waiting for a few week recovery and then to the boat in Palm Coast fl where I left it a month ago. .

Working on a stand for my folding bike that has a pully for my spare alternator so I can get some excersize and make a few watts when hanging on the hook this winter.
