Trebuchet. You should be able to rig one up with your boom and some nylon anchor rode. Use the weight of your boat as it sinks to the bottom to hurl rocks at the oncoming pirates.

hello thanks for all replies, newbie on the forum but not on the seas, their weak point is they have to board you to come onboard, and thats the moment to flamme them, when they think you surrender to their threats,do not forget that even if you comply you will be mistreated or worse killed!the preventive mesure is to make a good watch 360° a good pair of binoculars to have time to set the FT, the best is the surprise effect ...a FT is like a shot gun very effective a 50 feet...

it is just because I dicover the cruiser forum recently!and paln to come back liveboard in the caribbean but get concerned by the decay of venezuela and the useless watch of the ghost trinidadian coastguard!!!
