Its true that I haven't been as active posting in the threads as I was before moderating....some of it has to do with the time spent behind the mods mop and bucket...but I have also had other demands on my time....and spent a bit of time figuring out, and building (half done) a 50% scale model of a boarding ladder/stairs idea....
I'll try and do better.
I'm off in a few minutes for two or three days in Socotra...when I get back I promise to post some pictures of my most recent refit bits and pieces.
Thanks for the encouraging words all...it matters!
Hmmm,
ModeRATor.........Sceptar backwards.........RATpecs.......SocoTRA...I see a pattern emerging.

How quickly they forget the "little" people.

My 2 cents worth, James you are a poster who is able to impart information to those who need it, without baffling with Bullshuffle.
Good on ya!

I'd give him the flick from being a mod and the board! Just for fun, of course.

Ok...I've posted some recent pictures of Arctic Lady AND the Dhow project.

And here's some more dues...a couple from Socotra!
The one in the boat....the girls just finished swimming with about 15 dolphins...actualy, every time they jumped in the dolphine would move away by about 20 meters.

The other two are up in the mountains where the Dragon Blood trees are.

I'm back to Leb. on the first, and should have some good pictures soon after. In my absence I had someone working on the new cushions and I have a few bits and pieces that I'd finished last time, but didn't get installed.

It's a sculpture worthy of Henry Moore.
