Nothing to add here, seen most of them, Deep Water
is definetely my favourite documentary, The Bounty (1984) the best naval film, and Capt Ron the funniest subject-related comedy. Kill Cruise
is definetely rubbish but it's underrated rubbish and Paltrow (also the commander in Das Boot - best naval war film) does a classic penniless & alcoholic marina nightmare..
I have a question to the panel, I am trying to identify a film I saw in my childhood, and which I could never find again.
It's about a bunch of children
, maybe schoolkids, getting stuck on a tropical island after an airplane crash (not lord of the flies!) with two parental-type figures. They proceed to escape from the island by turning the B-52 type airplane into a massive improvised trimaran
. Someone gets eaten by a shark. I can't remember how it ends.
There's certainly some famous faces in there, and I seem to recall
the title was something like escape from paradise.. It's a harmless sort of kiddie film, even a bit disneyesque.. Does that ring any bells?
