Farley Mowat has passed

Dead at 92.

Heaven or hell?

He did not live a quiet life. I aspired to meet him, but did not.

Sad to hear. Just started reading People of the Deer. Read most of his others. Great guy.

"The Boat Who Wouldn't Float" is one of the all-time greats.

RIP, Farley, and thanks.

A great Canadian, author, environmentalist, and combat veteran of the Second World War.

Farley was something of a foul mouthed, hot headed cad.

The life force was strong in him.

Not what many " proper" folks would consider a good candidate.

I hope to meet him where ever he ends up, that's where my friends I'll be.
