My husband & I really don't do presents- we go on short holidays instead of stuff. We get the boat presents all year and we really don't have a ton of space to put stuff as live-aboards. It's a great way to celebrate!

My infinitely better half got a "Mast Climber". She didn't see the humor in it...or the double entendre.

Re: Did Santa give you boat stuff?

My admiral got an egg timer so she can stay awake on passages. And a ceramic knife.

Don't ya'll think those are just romantic gifts? Something every woman wants?

She got me a sweater for those cold night watches.

Our boat Capri got a Dutchman sail flaking system

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

It was mutually planned but fun for the grandsons. "Please take this one to Mimi". She did get a few personal items matched only by her beauty.

Re: Did Santa give you boat stuff?

I got a book called Navagation rules inland-international-inland and I got one of those $30.00 remote controlled helicopters from Radio Shack so that i could have something to play with while I am sitting at the dock(lot of that the last six months)It is lots of fun and I can fly it out the companion way and back into the forward hach, down the center of the boat ,into the head ,land in the sink inthe gally and thats hard beause I have cabinets all along the back of the boat, lots of fun for about six minutes at a time..
