Derek Hatfield dead at 63
A real shame. I met him at the Toronto Boat Show one year when he was fundraising for another run at the Vendee Globe.

That is a shame and a shock.

Have taken on the restoration of the first Nonsuch, which was launched in 1978. Needs some deck work, hull compounding, and a bit of new gear.
