I wore Dunlop Volley tennis shoes as my deck shoe of choice for years. I now have a pair of volleys for general wear and a pair of Sebagos for "best". I used to go for Sperrys, but I like the sebagos better.

I thought i posted on the Lewis and Clark boat shoes at Sam's Club for about 15.00 but I don't see the post now. Anyway, I love these things and find myself wearing them all over the place, not just the boat. I saw sizes up to 13. Ended up getting a bunch of sizes to keep on the boat for visitors.

They've also got insulated ones!

(I haven't tried them yet, but when I'm on board I'm barefoot.)
I'm from Kentucky. Do they come in 6 toe sizes?

This morning I received a pair of shoes from New Balance Tampa and they are great! They fit better than any boat shoe that I have ever had before!

WOW...After looking at this thread I feel stomped on by footwear info.

Just the same I will add my two cents worth.
I used to go barefoot, enduring the occasional stubbed toe, but as of this past summer I quit that.
My boat was pitching a bit when I mistepped onto the lazarette and the big ol'toe was the only thing that made contact, slipped off and down to the cockpit floor, with an immediate cracking of the bone. (ouch, can you feel it?)

Barefoot for me is now limited to the salon area, not the working deck.

My 2 cents is to go barefoot in normal conditions. I always liked that better because I can feel the deck and where I'm stepping. We worked professionally on the megayachts barefoot as well and it is preferred in that industry too.

If I *must* wear shoes, I opt for Tevas. Just plain old sandals. Good for going into town too. I think they come in the full range of sizes.

Crocks... well... I suppose I should keep my mouth shut about how "cool" those look... lol

Rockport

They are washable, dry fast, super grippy even after 3 years and they come in size 14.
