Thanks, Tao. I see now why I missed it - the photo in her post didn't show on my screen. Just a little blue square with a question mark inside.

But now, many thanks to Captain Andy, I have seen it, and it is good.

And Pelagic, that was hilarious! LOL

Let's see. We want to buy the CF burgee. We pay you with a bogus check for twice what you ask and you send us the burgee plus your bank account number and a check for the difference.

I am just trying to figure out the proper way to take orders.
PAYPAL. Correct shipping address and instant fund transfer. I'm ready when you are... and I love the burgee! Thanks Andy and the Mod squad!

Now?

Okay, we the have had people all over the place in the PNW trying to spot CSF members and most are missing each other. Everyone hates having channel 16 scratching away, so we need a burgee!

Newt is even giving away fish to strangers in a vain attempt to connect. Something should be done.

Bullseye!

All during this conversation, I imagined myself seeing this from 500 yds. and trying to discern what is is. Whatever the design, it had to be clear, distinctive, and distinguishable from a distance.

The two-shaded blue pennant with the palm branch would have worked: I could make out the two colors from quite a distance.

The final product is even better, and IMHO, less trendy, more authentically nautical, because it uses time-honored signals, and (or, therefore) can be discerned from quite a distance. Leave the martini pennants to the power boaters & yahoos. Chapman would lower his telescope, and nod in approval. Please make a loud announcement when these are available.

It'll hold it's own with the Seven Seas Burgee, but a second to my "Club Cruceros de La Paz" one. Having been a past officer of that Club... When can we order??

If you mean the alternative meanings of CF, yes it's been discussed among the staff and found to be not worth worrying about.

Yeah, I know. I'm sorry, I just can't do that. I know at least 10 guys at Shilshole that'll be laughing so hard they might fall off the dock. Then, I'll feel like I've gotta fish 'em out, and I don't want to feel any ambivalence about doing so. They're good mates.
